DIY Acne Mask
Step 1- Combine 2 tbsp organic honey, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, and 1 tsp of organic ground cinnamon
Step 2– Rub onto a clean face and let sit for 20 minutes.
Step 3- Rinse with cool water.
Step 4– If your skin needs extra moisture, add it now. (Here are some of my favorite night creams.)
What are the benefits of using apple cider vinegar, honey, and cinnamon on your skin?
Honey is a humectant (which means it is moisturizing!) and is also a natural antibiotic and antimicrobial agent.
Apple cider vinegar helps balance the pH of skin (and your body if you ingest it) and helps to soothe damaged, distressed skin.
Using cinnamon can help reduce signs of aging. It’s been proven to increase collagen synthesis! Using cinnamon can also help dry out blemishes by bringing oxygen and blood to the surface.
This scrub is also effective in exfoliating that outermost layer of yucky dead skin. Plus, they’re ingredients that most of us have around the house, so it’s just an added bonus that they actually come to the rescue when you’re breaking out!
Try to only use this mask once or twice a week.
