Get the Look! Naturally Bold

LaurenReid_Natural_BoldLip
Today I feel like sharing a get the look with you from one of my favorite “natural”, yet glam looks. Great for any time of year and can be beautiful with any color of lip!

Face:  I’ll give you ONE guess as to what foundation I used!  If you know me, you know the answer is Makeup Forever High Definition Invisible Cover foundation!  I love this stuff because it’s nearly undetectable by the eye, flawless on camera and has 100% build-able coverage.  For this look you want to keep the skin looking flawless, slightly sunkissed, but not too bronzed.

Eyes:  I used Lorac’s Little Black Palette.  I love this palette.  The colors are like velvety and are shimmer galore!  Looked great for this summery shoot.  You want to add a lighter color to the lid and brow line, and feather in the darker color to the crease to add some dimension to the eye.  I added some natural looking falsies and a winged liner to complete the look.

Lips:   This was the shoot I first discovered one of my favorite lip product brands, ever!  Every item of theirs I have tried goes on smoothly, flawlessly, and is easy to blend into the lips.  Not only that, but it lasts!  “Susanne Langmuir, the founder and driving force behind Bite Beauty, created her brand with the guiding philosophy, ‘You eat what you put on your lips, so your lipstick should be good for you.'”  Bite Beauty uses food-grade, antioxidant ingredients in all of their products including Resveratrol, organic fruit butters, Manuka honey, and moisturizing organic oils.  In this series I used Bite Beauty High Pigment Matte Pencil in Zinfandel, an electric coral color.

For good measure — here is a picture of average me wearing the same lip color on a mostly nude face. Doesnt look as bold with my filters, but it’s BEAUTIFUL and is bound to get you compliments everywhere you go! 🙂
